This study explores agroecology as a holistic approach for agri-food system transformation and sustainable rural development. Its aim is to contribute to a better understanding of how the Global North can translate recognition of its responsibility as a key contributor to the climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and unsustainable food systems globally into action locally.
