Workstream "Learning and Exchange"
- Generate and disseminate knowledge about Research-Practice Partnerships (RPCs) to EADI members, NGOs, policy makers and offer space for critical reflections
- with a functional perspective: What factors and conditions facilitate or inhibit RPCs? How can RPCs be strengthened?
- and a reflective perspective: Should researchers engage in RPCs? What are the effects and implications of RPCs?
- Foster exchange between academia and non-academic actors by institutionalizing a set of regular activities within EADI addressing the Research-Practice nexus
- Foster exchange on how to design funding initiatives that involve RPCs and co-production of knowledge, given that RPCs gain increasing importance in current and future funding initiatives
Workstream "Policy Engagement"
Aim: Policy makers take into account and/or make use of research from EADI members (EADI provides an institutionalized channel for facilitating the link between policy-makers & EADI members). At a first stage the thematic focus will be on development policy at the EU level.
