Climate Justice in Development

The Climate Justice and Restorative Development research group examines climate and environmental justice-related matters in national and international development practice and policy across multiple scales and spaces. It is an interdisciplinary research network including natural and social scientists and development experts exploring the implications of climate change, climate actions, and climate transitions on human-nature relations, socio-cultural relationships, and situated power dynamics. Through a justice-based and restorative development lens, our projects explore the multivariant dimensions, scales, constructions, and conceptualizations of climate action planning, adaptation, and ecological restoration policy and practice.
