The Center for Global Strategic Engagement is a service centre of the University of Pavia in Italy. Established in 2020, GLOBEC supports the development and implementation of the University's internationalisation strategy. It develops relations and agreemente with foreign universities, manages strategic partnerships and networks, and supports international initiatives and inter-university cooperation projects.

Cooperation for development forms one of GLOBEC's principal areas of activity. Through its internal CICOPS commission, the Center promotes cooperation with universities in the Global South and supports cultural, scientific and technical collaboration. GLOBEC's activities also encompass the Master's Programme in Cooperation and Development.
