The African Studies Centre is an interdisciplinary research centre at Metropolitan University Prague in Czechia. It focuses on contemporary development dynamics across the African continent, including the Maghreb region, and examines their implications for relations between Africa and Europe.

The Centre aims to provide a networking platform for academics and researchers at Metropolitan University Prague and other universities and research institutions across Czechia working on African development. It also seeks cooperation with international partners and aims to share its knowledge and experience with academic institutions, public authorities, businesses and the media.
