EADI-ELTE PhD Symposium for Hungary and Romania

The international symposium organized by the Department of Global and Development Studies at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest, and the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI) will provide an opportunity for doctoral researchers from Hungarian and Romanian institutions to present their research and reflect on contemporary development issues and interact with representatives from EADI. Based in Bonn, EADI is the leading association for development studies in Europe and contributes to strengthening the visibility of the field through events, conferences, and as a platform for strategic reflection.

Getting There

From Keleti Train Station: take Tram 23 towards Jászai Mari tér for 9 stops, exiting at Boráros tér H. You'll see stairs between the railway tracks; go up them to reach the Tram 4-6 stop. Take the next tram one stop to Petőfi híd, budai hídfő. Cross Irinyi József Street via the underpass, then walk through Students' Park (Egyetemisták parkja). Your destination is the building directly in front of the pathway.

From Deák Ferenc tér (City Center): take Metro Line M3 towards Kőbánya-Kispest for 3 stops, getting off at Corvin-negyed. From there, take Tram 4-6 for 3 stops, exiting at Petőfi híd, budai hídfő. Cross Irinyi József Street via the underpass, then walk through Students' Park (Egyetemisták parkja). Your destination is the building directly in front of the pathway.
