SP06 - What’s next for analysing, understanding and tackling poverty?

This panel invites contributions that critically assess current practice or put forward innovative ideas for finding (g)local solutions to address the persistent global challenge of poverty. It especially welcomes contributions that link poverty research and policy to notions of sustainability, and reflect on poverty measurement and practice post-SDGs.

The panel seeks to discuss both work-in-progress and recently completed research, aiming to draw out lessons across disciplinary framings on poverty, methods to understand (solutions to) poverty, and geographical contexts where poverty takes place. We welcome contributions from early career researchers and international teams and are especially interested in work that explicitly includes lived experience experts.

This panel is organised by the EADI Working Group on "Multidimensional Poverty and Poverty Dynamics"
