The Islands & Small States Institute (ISSI) of the University of Malta invites postgraduate students, alumni and academics to the 1st Postgraduate Conference in Islands and Small States Studies. The event will be held on 20 June 2022, between 9am and 6pm, at the University of Malta’s Valletta Campus and is being co-organised with the Institute for Tourism Travel & Culture, and with the support of the Doctoral School of the University of Malta, the Malta Tourism Authority and the University of Malta Conferences and Events Unit.
This is a hybrid event, where online attendance is also accepted. However, preference in the selection of abstracts and participation will be given to those attending in person and only limited spaces are available for virtual participation. Registration is required as limited seats are available. For Covid-19 travel requirements please consult the information provided by the Ministry for Health. Information about visa to Malta can be obtained from the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs.
