EJDR is recruiting new co-editors

The European Journal of Development Research (EJDR) is seeking to recruit three new co-editors to join its editorial team. In all three instances, we are looking for a research-active scholar based in the global North or South with extensive experience of publishing, editing and reviewing for high-ranking academic journals.

The co-editors will join an active editorial team, amongst which management of the paper review process is shared to ensure that editors manage papers within their area of expertise. Members of the editorial team receive financial support to promote the journal at relevant international conferences.

The vacancies are as follows:

Two Co-Editors with expertise related to sociology, anthropology and/or human geography perspectives on international development

These individuals should bring the perspectives of sociology, anthropology and/or human geography to international development. They might have expertise and experience related, for example, to rural development, gender, migration, urbanisation, etc. At least one of these positions will be filled by an individual with skills and experience in the application of qualitative and/or mixed methods.

One bilingual French/ English Co-Editor with a broad-based expertise in international development research

This individual must be able to handle submissions in both English and French. They should have broad-based expertise and experience in international development research using quantitative and qualitative approaches and interdisciplinary perspectives.
