Call for Applications: Mobility Scholarships

South African Master and PhD candidates and staff are invited to apply for a mobility period at one of the European EUSA_ID partner universities while European PhD candidates are invited to apply for a mobility period at one of the South African partner universities!

The second call for applications is now open until 21 March 2015.

For non-degree seeking mobilities for the MADM at Ruhr University Bochum the application deadline is already 15 February 2015 as the mobility starts in April 2015.

About EUSA_ID:

EUSA_ID is a mobility programme offering study, training and research periods in Europe for South African Master and PhD candidates and staff and provides European PhD candidates the opportunity to spend a research period in South Africa.


84 mobilities (18 European, 66 South African) cover Master students, PhD candidates and staff.
The partnership is coordinated by Ruhr-University Bochum (Germany). The co-coordinator on the South African side is the University of the Western Cape (UWC). Overall the consortium consists of 6 South African and 7 European Higher Education Institutions and shares the expertise in complementary thematic fields related to Development Studies which has been chosen as common umbrella.


It is supported by 3 associated partners, including EADI, who foster promotion of the project and provide support related to facilitate study recognition and quality assurance.
