Following the success of the previous Knowledge Exchange events in the Bridge 47 project for the Iberian, South Eastern Europe, and Northern Europe partnerships, EADI and Bridge 47 are pleased to announce our Knowledge Exchange Partnerships Seminar. The seminar will take place online on 20 and 21 January 2021.

Focusing on partnerships and knowledge exchange for Critical Global Citizenship Education (CGCE) which can address inequalities and solidarities, this online seminar will bring together participants from three Knowledge Exchange Partnerships established to support Bridge 47’s aims to bring people together to share and learn from each other. It will explore questions identified as relevant to all partnerships, including how to collaborate and exchange in ways which embrace an ecology of knowledges[1], and foster a process of individual and collective praxis.

This seminar also opens a space for new encounters which, building on Susa’s (2019) suggestion of ‘edge to edge’ approaches, can both take account of the gifts and the limitations of different understandings of CGCE and connect it to the important task of addressing inequalities and marginalization in contexts of local and global interconnections.
