Postconflict reconstruction in Ukraine represents one of the most significant challenges for the future. Together with academia and civil society representatives, we will delve into the complex realities on the ground. Postconflict reconstruction requires collaborative efforts and innovative bottom-up solutions. What will be the role of the Ukrainian diaspora and returnees in the reconstruction of Ukraine in the aftermath of the conflict? How can other countries and development actors contribute? What can be done to improve the situation now while the conflict is still ongoing?Join us as we collaborate with academia, civil society, and business leaders to explore the complex realities on the ground.

The roundtable is a follow-up to the micro-credential Lifelong Learning course that took place in February-April 2024 at the Department of Development and Environmental Studies, Palacký University Olomouc in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration. The course was completed by 28 participants – Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic.
