Diplomacy and Negotiations (DN)
The curricular approach is interdisciplinary, but based on political science, so prospective students will need at least basic knowledge in such fields as: International Relations, European Integration, Sociology, International Public Law, EU Law, Public Administration, European Public Administration, Communication and Public Relations, Psychology, Philosophy or Political Science.

This Master programme is addressed to prospective students who would like to work in diplomacy or negotiations in an international/ multicultural environment or to those who already do it and would like to enhance their skills. The main goal of this Master Programme is to provide advanced training and qualification in the field of external relations, as a very dynamic and diverse section of the job market. Due to the quality of the curricula, the professional experience and academic credentials of the professors involved in the programme, the master “Diplomacy and Negotiations” has the capacity to help the students develop the necessary competences for a career which requires both solid knowledge in the field of International Relations and specific practical skills (a capacity for synthesis and analysis, verbal and written communication, including in foreign languages, negotiation, creativity, etc.). European Politics and Economy (PEE)
The Master degree also provides students with a research-active teaching environment which gives them a good grounding in the study of Social Science in general and International Political Economy in particular. Additionally, it offers a critical perspective of the interplay between structures and actors in the global economy, political systems and processes, individuals and the institutions of civil society. These acquired skills can also be applied through the involvement of students in the activities developed within the Centre for European Studies, which is an integrated part of the National University.

The Master Program of European Politics and Economy proposes an integrated view over the European continent. It addresses to people who wish to develop a career that will interlink politics with economy. Within the nowadays society that is deals with both the benefits and risks and vulnerabilities that is exposed to due to the globalization phenomenon, the national and international political levels were always influenced by the economic development and vice versa. The Master Program proposes an interdisciplinary approach bringing together several areas of study regarding current society: economics, political science and international relations and European studies. International Relations and European Integration (RIIE)
The programme is generally addressed to students graduating from university studies under the Bologna regime (3 years) or to graduates from long term university studies (4 years or more) and, in particular, to those who wish to build a strong career in international organizations such as the EU, NATO, UN, etc., but also national public institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of European Funds, Romanian embassies abroad, etc. Also, the programme supports students with an inclination for research in the domains accommodated by the MA and encourages participation in the activities of the Centre for European Studies, conferences, workshops and seminaries.

The MA programme International Relations and European Integration (DIREI) is part of the classic educational offer of the Department of International Relations and European Integration, being at the same time the oldest MA programme dedicated to the study of international relations and European studies in the institution. The continuity of the programme is based on the students’ appreciation for the varied academic content, its interdisciplinarity and the quality of teaching constantly adapted to the evolutions at the European and international level, respectively to the needs and requests of the students. The MA programme proposes a dual approach to current regional and international affairs: on one hand, international relations that offer a global perspective and on the other, European studies that focus more on the regional level.
