Call for Book Proposals: Critical Perspectives on Development


Palgrave Macmillan is delighted to announce a new series dedicaed to
publishing cutting-edge titles that focus on the broad area of
'development'.

The core aim of the series is to expand the frontiers of development
studies.

The key themes of the series are as follows:

  • cross disciplinarity
  • challenging orthodoxies
  • reconciling theoretical depth with empirical research
  • exploring the frontiers of development studies in terms of 'development' in both North and South and global inter-connectedness
  • reflective thinking on claims to knowledge, positionality and intervening in other peoples lives.

Publications in this series will thus examine a wide variety of issues in
contemporary development.
