Report of the Working Group on Information Management

The working group theme for this year's meeting was evaluation of information services and projects. This session opened with a presentation by Dr. Byran Mook, ISNAR, which was covered in a short powerpoint presentation. The subject of evaluation is covered in more detail in the manual compiled by Dr. Mook, entitled "Letter to a Project Manager", which is available on the internet at the following location: http://www.bellanet.org/leap/impact/.
The presentation identified some key issues that need to be addressed when embarking on an evaluation. After going through these issues, the group was then given a case study situation and then brainstormed on how to approach this evaluation assignment.
