Activities:
Following very successful WG sessions at the General Conference in Bonn, September 2005, no workshops or seminars were organised during 2006.
Activity during 2006 has focused on a book project for the EADI book series. This entails the conversion of some of the papers from the WG sessions at the General Conference into a volume entitled 'Decentralisation, Poverty Reduction and Conflict Management in Africa', edited by Gordon Crawford and Christof Hartmann. Following the submission of revised papers by contributors, the manuscript is nearing completion.
Future activities:
Possible Governance WG meeting in conjunction with the 'Centre of Excellence in Global Governance Research', Helsinki.
